One of the samples was a one time use John Frieda Full Repair Full Body Shampoo and Conditioner. Now, I try out hair products like nobody's business, and I'd been curious about this line since it came out so I was super excited to try it.
At first use, the smell is AMAZING, reminiscent of Viva La Juicy by Juicy Couture, and if you use that fragrance I would definitely suggest this shampoo as a cheaper alternative to keeping that smell going all day long. I love the sample SO much that when it went on sale at target for 4.50 each (plus the added bonus of a $5 gift card) I snatched it up. It is a great volumizing shampoo when your leaving your hair natural, but the conditioner is no bueno. I left my hair really dry and I found myself scrambling for a moisture alternative. I could cry myself to sleep with disappointment, I expected so much more from John Frieda.... at the very least a conditioner has to at least (duh) condition. However, in a way I shouldn't have been all that surprised... (2 words: Frizz-Ease)Anyways, hope you all are having a great holiday!!!
